Cookbook

The cookbook can be found in the icon bar under where the cafe loads. There are two ways to open the cookbook. Players can click on an empty stove, or click on the cookbook in the icon bar. The only difference is that when the cookbook is opened from clicking on a stove, the "Cook" button will appear under dishes the player has already unlocked. When the cookbook is opened from clicking on the cookbook icon, the "Cook" button will not appear. Inside the cookbook, players can find detailed information on each unlocked dish. For dishes that are locked, information will be provided on what mission or level needs to be completed in order to unlock the dish.

New Avatar Solution

When Cafe World first brought new avatars into the game, there was a bug in their design because any time an avatar stood in front of a stove, the stove was literally blocked. The field around the avatar was too big and players couldn't click their stoves to make food until the avatars walked away.

There has been a fix to this problem as of April 7/8, 2011, the game developers have made it so this problem no longer exists. Players should now be able to click on stoves even when the avatar is standing in front of it.

For more information on the new avatars, visit the post New Avatars.

New Avatars

Cafe World has changed their avatars. The change was made so that the game runs faster once the cafe has loaded. The avatars walk faster than before, although their features are a little blurrier than in the past. There also seem to be fewer selections for designing one's avatar.

UPDATE: This problem no longer exists. For more information, view post New Avatar Solution.
One noticeable problem players have found is that if an avatar is standing in front of a stove where the player can see the back of the avatar's head, the player cannot click on the stove. A solution to this is available only if a player is willing to rearrange their stoves. If the avatar is standing behind a stove where the player can see the avatar's face, then they will be able to click on the stove. The picture below shows where the stoves can be placed so that they can be easily clicked on.
