Goals

Basics
Cafe World started out as just a simple cooking game. It has evolved into a much larger game with the introduction of goals. Goals are basically side missions that players can engage in while just cooking dishes of their choice at their own pace. Goals usually do one of three things; unlock new recipes, reward players with Cafe Coins and Cafe Points, and unlock new decorations. Goals can be found on the right hand side of the screen. Cafe World is very quick at rolling out new goals, and they only display four at a time.

The introduction of the Goal Manager is one that has been very good for players. If a player mouses over the goal icons, two bars will appear one at the top and one at the bottom. If the bars are clicked, the goals will scroll and players will be able to see all of their goals. Once the bar has turned grey, it means that the end of the goal list has been reached. The goal manager is pictured on the left.

Limited Time Goals
Some goals are limited time only. This means that any recipes or decorations that could be unlocked by finishing the limited time goals will disappear once the goal does. Limited time goals will usually be released for major holidays or seasons. For example, there was a Valentine's Day goal set as well as a St. Patrick's Day goal set already this year. Some goals are story line goals, such as the newest set of Hawaii goals, entitled Aloha, Joe and Lisa. It is not guaranteed that all story line goals are limited time, but this set is.
