New Years Bash 2012

Cafe World has released the New Years Bash 2012 event. The timer is set at 6 days. Decorations and recipes can be unlocked through the 10 part goal chain as well as the daily challenges. Successfully completing the event will grant you a 4X Lightning Stove. This sounds like it's a 10% stove with 4 burners. Players will be collecting "Party Points" to increase their overall Party Score. Maximizing your Party Score will allow you to unlock the ultra exclusive Luxury Decor. It has come to my attention that the luxury decor they are speaking of is one 4X Ultra Stove. 

The banner above my cafe now says this: The 2012 New Years Bash is here! Perform Daily challenges to earn Party Points before time runs out! Earn enough points and you'll get a new 4X Ultra Stove and EXCLUSIVE party decor! I am unsure why Zynga didn't release this information when they first released the event, but at least it's here now.

This checklist is where your progress is recorded. You can get to it by clicking the disco ball icon on the right hand side of your screen. Upon first glance, there are a lot of recipes available. You will be able to ask for parts from your friends through the checklist. I've blurred my friends pictures out for their privacy, but you will see your friends pictures up at the top of the checklist with a button that says "Post." The catering order gives you 2,000 party points, and if you finish building the Ice Sculpture, you get 2,000 party points. Clicking the "Invite Friends" button will post a link to your wall that your friends can click to attend your party.

Players on the forum have been speculating that if one achieves a Party Score of 10,000 points they will get the 4X Ultra Stove, but nothing has been confirmed. If you're aiming for that stove, try for at least 10,000 points so that you will get the stove if the above statement is true.

This event also comes with a daily challenge. To view the daily challenge, click the "Daily Challenge" button on your checklist. Each day there will be a dish to cook, and parts to ask for. If you manage to cook and collect all the parts needed, you will be rewarded with a recipe and a decoration item. There are two levels to this, so if you make it to the first level, you will still be rewarded. Daily Challenges start at 9pm PST.

Level 1: Serve the dish that pops up in your cafe 45 times - unlocks Saucy Pork Carnitas recipe
Level 2: Serve the dish that pops up in your cafe 90 times - unlocks Gold and Silver Balloons decoration

Level 1: Collect 5 Party Hats - unlocks Pasta Roses recipe
Level 2: Collect 10 Party Hats - unlocks 9 Confetti Floor Tiles

This pops up after a Daily Challenge has expired. If you've successfully unlocked recipes and decorations, it should show you all that you unlocked. Mine only shows the one recipe because that's the only one I worked towards getting.
